Conservation
We do conservation workshop's for the little people We have developed a range of unique workshops where children (and their listening parents) can make beautiful things, mostly using natural or recycled materials with learning about nature embedded throughout. These workshops are fun, exciting and theatrical and can transport children to another world. We use storytelling and performance as well as hands on arts and crafts to make each workshop a magical experience for young and old alike Here are a just a few examples of our different workshops available; Fairy Party Crowns (create a beautiful Crown from willow withies and fresh hedgerow leaves); Magic Wands (learn the secret powers of all the trees in the woods and how to make the first magic wand.... ); Wizard Shields (learn how to weave a shield from willow withie and then add natural decorations that represent elements of the woodland and the special powers of some of its animal); Fairy Gardens (Plant up your own real garden in a pot with three real wildflowers that will attract lots of wildlife and any passing magical creature. Add lots of decorations, paths, furniture and anything else you think they might appreciate)...

Singing workshops & Jollywood
Jo Lee is a West End Musical actress, she has been performing and singing for over 25 years and also teaches and takes workshops for individuals and small groups Jo will cover all aspects of singing, including techniques for voice control, performance and presentation skills. There will always be a small demonstration of skills at the end of a workshop in which pupils can invite their own audience! Jo's sessions are uplifting and a lot of fun, singing experience not necessary Jollywood Youth Theatre is an established theatre school based in Chelmsford, Essex, specialising in singing, dance and drama. Jo, Annie and Leigh have a wealth of experience in teaching and performance and have a huge selection of shows, productions and workshops to offer small or large groups who are interested in theatre, musicals and drama. The highly successful “show in a day” workshops have proved to be very popular and would be suitable for corporate events, amateur dramatic societies, schools. colleges or companies wishing to teambuild and develop self confidence amongst individuals. A lot of fun, something a bit different and no experience necessary All I can say is a big thank you to both of you for making our Ladies night very special, The place came alive when you both started singing, texts and e mails of appreciation are still coming in. Union Lodge was consecrated in 1736 and I don't think it has ever been rocked like that before. Thanks again, Steve Bennington (WM) Union Lodge 52 |
