Voxtet

Voxtet is an essentially jazz based close harmony vocal group with eight singers accompanied by a jazz quintet featuring a four piece rhythm section and saxophonist. All the vocalists/musicians are London based working in west end shows, orchestras, big bands, sessions and jazz ensembles. Several have released their own albums The vocal group is: Donna Canale, Yona Dunsford, Jacqui Hicks, Alison Jiear, Emer McParland, and Sam Shaw, with Andrew Playfoot and Colin Skinner. The rhythm section is: Pete Callard (guitar), Nick Moss (sax), Dave Jones (bass) and the King of Groove, Frosty Beedle, on drums "With their state-of-the-art vocal harmony, all-embracing repertoire and joy in true music-making. Carrie is a highly experienced singer/acoustic guitarist with a wide repertoire of music from the 40's to the now! For the last 20 years she has been performing solo all over London, the provinces and abroad Whether you require a laid-back Jazzy afternoon a la Nora Jones or a more upbeat gig to dance the night away, Carrie will select her set list accordingly. Playing everything from Ella to Madonna, Mammas and Pappas to Will Young, she can play standards to suit all ages and tastes She is self-contained and requires only a parking space close to the performance area for loading/unloading the PA system and access to a power point in the venue. Jeremy Allen

Jeremy Allen trained and worked as an actor for 5 years before turning his hand to music and writing. As well as gigging around the London circuit, he has written and performed 'The Scarecrow' - a modern, musical fairytale - at the Emery Theatre in Poplar and at The Heathcote Arms. Jeremy has also toured a one-man children's show- 'Tales of Brer Rabbit'- around Arts Centres in the South-East and in 1999 won a Melody Maker sponsored lyric writing competition for a song called 'The Magnificent Evans' He has gigged regularly at venues such as the 12-Bar Club, Acoustic Café, Mean Fiddler, Dublin Castle and The Spot in Covent Garden. Festivals have included Cambridge, Oxford, Fleadh and Harlow

Sarah Fisher

Sarah has been a professional musician for 20 years. She toured with pop band The Eurythmics (Annie Lennox), works as a session keyboard player with various artists and has appeared on TV programs including Top of the Pops. She performs regularly as a singer-pianist in London and has played throughout the UK and abroad. Her song repertoire is extensive and covers all genres of music from jazz to contemporary pop. She also has her own band 'Sax in the City' Sarah is available for all functions including weddings, private parties and corporate events |
